Siddhartha was the first tarantula that I ever owned. Sadly, he passed away in December 2009, but not before my husband was able to snap this photo of him:

Because I loved having a tarantula so much, I went ahead and added another Avicularia, avicularia-Pink Toed Tarantula;

And that’s when I got Nata, a Grammostola rosea, aka Chilean Rose:
